Over/Under Pick LOOMS

A shuttle is a tool for carrying a holder that carries the thread of the weft yarn while weaving on a loom neatly and compactly. In order to weave in the weft, shuttles are thrown or carried back and forth through the shed, between the yarn strands of the warp. The most basic shuttles are fashioned from a flat, narrow piece of wood with slots on the ends to retain the weft yarn.

PROCESS

  • PROCESS 01 Warping

Warping is the first step of fabric manufacturing process. After winding, warping process is done for making a weavers beam. Weavers beam is produced from a set of yarns of same yarn count or different. In most of the cases we see that different yarn count is used for making sacking fabrics in jute mills. But most of the fabrics are produced from same yarn count. It is noted that all requirement depends on the fabric structure. Production of Weavers beams depending on the fabric structure. Fabric structure plays an important role in fabric manufacturing process.

  • PROCESS 02 Pirn Winding Machine

A Pirn is a rod that is wrapped with weft thread for weaving. It is set in position, unlike a bobbin, and the thread is delivered from the end of the pirn rather than the centre. A standard pirn is constructed of wood or plastic and is somewhat tapered for the most of its length before abruptly flaring out at the base, which fits over a pin in the shuttle. Pirns are wrapped in a clockwise direction from the base in order to ensure snag-free delivery of the thread, unlike bobbins, which are wound evenly from end to end.

  • PROCESS 04 Packing

Packing is the process of packing all the items for an order into an appropriate container before shipping it to the customer. It is the second step in order fulfillment, right after the picking process. The packing process takes place in the warehouse and typically consists of choosing appropriate fabric quality and an appropriate container to pack the products, weighing the package, and labeling it with the relevant invoice or packing slip.
